Jay Porterfield, AIA
Architect
Mr. Porterfield has been a member of the firm for the past 21 years. Mr. Porterfield’s responsibilities include architectural design, preparation of contract documents, construction administration, computer network maintenance and creation and management of the firm’s web site. Most recently he has been involved in several projects for the City of Corpus Christi, Kingsville, Corpus Christi ISD, and Flour Bluff ISD; most of which involve renovation and or reroofing as well as new construction. Mr. Porterfield is comfortable working together with building users and management to deliver successful projects.
Mr. Porterfield’s project experience involves design-build and design services, document coordination, including coordination of engineering consultants, production, construction administration, and project close-out.
Outside of the office, Mr. Porterfield, an Eagle Scout, enjoys being an Assistant Scout Master with his son's Boy Scout Troop. He has completed several adult leader training courses with the BSA and served on staff for the Wood Badge adult leader training program.
